Introducing Orchids 1.0

Today we're excited to introduce Orchids 1.0, the first AI app builder to build and deploy any app, any stack - web, mobile, chrome extension, slack bot, AI agent, anything.

On top of this, you can now use your existing AI subscriptions (ChatGPT, Claude Code, Gemini, Github Copilot, and Gemini) or bring any API key to use models at cost in Orchids.

Building any app, any stack

Simply put in any prompt into Orchids and that's it - everything else is handled by us. Traditionally, AI app builders have only been capable of building websites (in a very specific, obscured stack) or the occasional mobile app. Orchids 1.0 is an exciting next step in unlocking what people can build with AI by unleashing the entire universe of apps and stacks (web, mobile, slack bot, vite, python, chrome extension, AI agent, etc.).

Using your AI subscriptions and API keys

Another equally exciting new feature in Orchids 1.0 is being able to use your existing AI subscriptions and API keys. This means you can now use your ChatGPT, Claude Code, Gemini, or Github Copilot subscription in Orchids - saving on credit burn and getting the most out of your existing AI subscriptions. You can also use any API key to use models at cost in Orchids.

This is currently available on the desktop and on our paid plans.

Powerful new code editor on web and desktop

With Orchids 1.0 you also now get a VS Code editor directly inside Orchids - giving you basically no reason to leave Orchids and into a code editor to make minor changes. This is available on the web and for Mac on our desktop app.

What's next

This is just the beginning. We're working on some even more exciting features to come soon but today marks a moment when Orchids became the, bar none, best way to build anything with AI. We hope you enjoy and happy building.
